Sport - F1;Alonso wins Singapore Grand Prix

NEW DELHI: Former world champion Fernando Alonso won the Singapore Grand Prix, the first night race of formula one history on Sunday. Nico Rosberg finished second for Williams ahead of McLaren's Lewis Hamilton at third. Championship contender Ferrari's Felipe Massa almost blew away his title chase, when fuel hose stuck on his car while driving out of the pitstop earlier in the race. Massa started the race from pole position but the freak accident left the Brazilian seven points behind Hamilton with just three races to go.
