While Khan will be strumming the guitar, Akhtar will apparently sing at the concert to be held for Bihar flood victims

Saif Ali Khan will be taking centre stage for a charity concert with the popular music band Parikrama. The show, to be held in Mumbai, is aimed at raising funds to support a paediatric camp in Bihar.

The actor will be playing the guitar for two numbers with the band. Subir Malik, of Parikrama band says that since Saif’s favourite band is AC/DC (Australian rock band), the star would probably strum the guitar for the band’s popular numbers.

“We will perform for around 20 minutes and sing around five songs. Three of the songs will be originals, which won’t have Saif playing with us. We will also do two covers for which Saif will play the guitar. He is a good guitarist and we have collaborated earlier too. It’s great fun to practise and perform with him. He has great energy levels,” Subir reveals.

He adds, “We have already started practising with Saif for the concert. Saif is happy to do something for the Bihar flood victims.”

When asked to reveal the numbers for which Saif will be playing he says, “We can’t reveal anything since we are under contract. There are some television rights to be considered. But expect a lot of AC/DC music on stage.”

Sources also suggest that Farhan Akhtar and Saif will perform together at the concert. “We don’t know about that and can’t say anything more,” Subir sayus succinctly.

The concert will be held on October 31. It is an initiative by filmmakers Farhan Akhtar, Ritesh Sidhwani and actor Arjun Rampal (the trio were part of the Rock On film team).

The event will have 12 bands across India participating in it. Reportedly, Hrithik Roshan, Shah Rukh Khan, Abhishek Bachchan and Aishwarya Rai will be present during the event and will also address the audience.
