A Sony Corp website is beginning a new Internet program innovation this week.
In the latest move to bolster online entertainment, Sony’s Crackle.com will roll out web shows, including sketches by L.A. comedy troupe 'The Groundlings,' and a five-minute talk show hosted by a Hollywood writer.
The Web shows will appear in seasons, with the first season starting on December 1st.
Sony has said the shows will have high production values and will mostly be no more than five minutes long.
According to TV ratings firm, Nielsen, the Crackle site had 2.4 million visitors in October
