MUMBAI: Star One is launching a reality show Pehchaan Kaun? to hunt for India’s best impersonator.
Produced by Fox Productions, the show is a search for contestants who can copy the style, voice and come closest to mimicking celebrity.
The auditions for Pehchaan Kaun? has already kicked off across 8 cities – Delhi, Chandigarh, Amritsar, Lucknow, Calcutta, Hyderabad, Ahmedabad and Baroda.
Star One EVP and GM Ravi Menon said, “Pehchaan Kaun? is the first of its kind show on Indian television. The unique concept and interesting format will surely get the audiences glued to the channel. Also, in our country where there is no dearth of talent we are hoping to present the viewers with a real winner who best impersonates a celebrity."
