MUMBAI: English movie channel HBO has announced that it will celebrate the last month of the year with a variety of properties.
One of its properties is Blockbuster Fiesta. This is a package of the channel's biggest films that have aired this year. The property is being showcased every weeknight at 9 pm. The line up includes Mr. Bean's Holiday, The Da Vinci Code, The Pursuit Of Happyness, The Bourne Ultimatum and Happy Feet.
HBO offers viewers the chance to spend Christmas in the company of the ogre Shrek. Shrek The Third airs on 25 December at 9 pm. This is the channel's Blockbuster Movie of The Month. When his new father-in-law, the King, falls ill, Shrek has to take on the role of heir apparent in the land of Far, Far Away. He enlists Donkey and Puss in Boots to train the reluctant Artie as the new king while Princess Fiona holds the fort against Prince Charming and his minions.
The block HBO New Year Eve airs on 31 December from 7 pm. Transformers, Spider Man 3 and Shrek The Third air back to back.
HBO will also have movie premieres every Saturday at 9 pm on the programming block, HBO See It First. The line up includes the family comedy Daddy Day Camp and the action packed thriller The Kingdom. This will be followed by a HBO Jaws Bonanza. The four Jaws movies will air here after the premiere.
